CDからリッピングしたwavファイル再生に使用しています。
古い装置ですが、DAコンバータのアナログ接続ケーブルを自作ノンシールドケーブルに変えてから音質に満足しています。
1.PC
(1) 第２世代core i7の古いノートパソコン。
(2) OSは、Arch Linux、リアルタイムパッチを適用してカーネルをビルドしています。Topコマンドを確認するとUSB2.0のehciの割り込みが優先されています。
DebainよりもArch Linuxの方が好みの音であった。
X Windowなしの方がクリアな音だった。
リアルタイムカーネルの方が音が良かった。
カーネルの更新が面倒なので、ネットワークから切り離して使用しています。
(3) 日本語表示可能なfbtermからMusic on Consoleという再生ソフトを使用しています。
(4) 音楽データは、eSATA接続の外付けHDDに保存。
(5) バーブラウンチップのUSB/DDコンバータによりS/PDIFに変換。
２．DAコンバータ
(1) 2000年頃の古い製品です。このメーカーは、ずっと以前に廃業しています。96kHz/24bitまでの対応です。44.1kHz入力の場合、DSPにより2倍のサンプリングにする仕様です。
(2) 出力インピーダンスが2.4kΩ（仕様は2.5kΩ以下）と高いのが最大の弱点です。接続ケーブルの静電容量を極端に小さくしなければ、信号がなまります。
３．接続ケーブル
見づらいですが、壁に吊るしてある細い2本の線がノンシールドケーブルです。ホット-コールド間の静電容量は25pF/m程度です。

Arch Linux sounded more to my liking than Debain.

(4) Music data is stored on an external HDD with eSATA connection.
(5) Converted to S/PDIF by USB/DD converter with Burr Brown chip.
2. DA converter
(1) This is an old product from around 2000. This manufacturer went out of business a long time ago. 96kHz/24bit is supported. 44.1kHz input is doubled by DSP for sampling.
(2) Its greatest weakness is its high output impedance of 2.4kΩ (specification is 2.5kΩ or lower). If the capacitance of the connecting cable is not made extremely small, the signal will be tampered.
3. connecting cable
It is difficult to see, but the two thin wires hanging on the wall are non-shielded cables. The capacitance between hot and cold is about 25 pF/m.

興味のあるのは、主に音楽関連の記事です。
The New York Timesの音楽記事が毎日更新されているので、有料版に登録しました。
価格は、最初の1年間は4週で$2、その後は$8です。
4週で10件、SNSに記事リンクを付けることができるので、Twitterに時々リンクを付けています。
Apple iPhoneの中国の状況は、日本の新聞よりも詳しく記載されていました。
Barbra Streisandの初期録音の新アルバムリリースに関しても詳しく紹介されていました。
Google翻訳でも概略わかります。但し、Scienceを化学と訳しているのできちんと読むには原文も確認する必要があります。

Twitterのフォローワーの人のホームページから見つけたソフトです。

ロシア製のフリーソフトです。Windows版の他にLinux版があるようです。
ダウンロードファイルを展開しノートンにスキャンして、問題がなかったのでウィルスの問題はなさそうです。
OSと密接に関連する部分まで操作するようなので、管理者権限での実行が必要です。
私の環境（マザーボード）では、WASAPIの24bitの設定を32bitに変換しないとWASAPIが使えなかったです。
WASAPIはpush、pullの設定がありますが、pullの設定の方が音が良かったです。
プライオリティはリアルタイムに設定しています。
foobar2000より音が良いです。Ubuntu Studio上のjack + audaciousより、若干クリアさが落ちる程度です。

I extracted the downloaded file and scanned it into Norton, and there were no problems, so there seems to be no virus problem.
It seems to manipulate parts closely related to the OS, so it needs to be run with administrator privileges.
In my environment (motherboard), I could not use WASAPI unless I converted the WASAPI 24-bit setting to 32-bit.
WASAPI has push and pull settings, but the sound was better with the pull setting.
Priority is set to realtime.
The sound is better than foobar2000, just a little less clear than jack + audacious on Ubuntu Studio.

スピーカー修理部品（ツィーター）をebayで発注しましたが、届きませんでした。
ebayサポートと英文でやり取りしながら、返金手続きまで進めることができました。
ebayで購入される方の参考になると思いますので、紹介します。
１．予定納期から10日後にセラーに問い合わせ到着していないことを伝えると、以下の回答がありました。
"Hello! Your parcel was sent by eBay. Please contact eBay support so they can find your package."
２．eBayサポートに問い合わせると、日本でのトラッキング番号を教えてくれました。近くの郵便局に問い合わせると、宛名不十分で送り主に返却済みとのことでした。
次のステップへの進み方の説明がありました。
1) Go to the "Purchase history” and scroll down to locate the case.
2) You would have to click on the "see details".
3) When you do so, you will be re-directed to a new page where, you would be given three options: "send a message to the seller", "close this request", and "Ask us to step in and help".
4) Select "Ask us to step in and help" and click on the "continue" button at the bottom right-hand side of the page.
３．セラーに再度問い合わせしましたが、回答がありませんでした。
４．"Ask us to step in and help"に進み、eBayに仲裁をお願いしました。
添付画像のように強制返金の手続きになりました。
ebayを利用する場合は住所に些細なミスがあれば届かないので、宛名は慎重に確認することをお勧めします。
また、予定納期から遅れれば速やかに問い合わせした方が良いことがわかりました。
