10月中旬からTwitterを再開しました。
オープンCAE関係のツィートをすると、海外から「いいね」、「リツイート」、質問、コメントの反応があるときがあります。
興味のある方はグローバルでみれば結構いるようです。
日本語で書いていても、翻訳機能でそれぞれの言語で読めるようです。

October Twitter Results
In mid-October, I resumed Twitter.
Whenever I tweet something related to Open CAE, I sometimes receive "likes", "retweets", questions, and comments from overseas.
It seems that there are many people who are interested in Open CAE on a global scale.
Even if you write in Japanese, you can read it in your own language with the translation function.

名古屋高岳のTrunk Coffeeのバリスタの方がジャパン・カップテイスターズのチャンピオンになったとのメールが届いたので、臨時の福袋を1週間前に発注しました。
昨日届きました。
同封されていたのは、以下の４種類です。
・特級クラス：初代COEエチオピア 優勝ニグセ・ゲメダ・ムデ農園 NIGUSSIE GEMEDA MUDE / Ethiopia Natural
・特級クラス（マスターピース）⚡️IPR100 ナチュラルアナエロビック・ダテーラ"IPR100"
・発酵タンクにコーヒー以外の果実を入れて味付けしたコーヒー2種類
特級クラスは、確かにおいしく欠点が少ないのですが、私はもっとワイルドな味の方が好きです。普通のスペシャルティコーヒーで十分です。
上質なパカマラナチュラルが見つかれば、味の傾向が全く違うので高くても買おうと思います。
Is fine coffee too classy?
I ordered a temporary grab bag a week ago after receiving an email that the barista at Trunk Coffee in Takaoka, Nagoya, had won the Japan Cup Tasters' Champion.
It arrived yesterday.
Enclosed were the following four types.
Special Class: First COE Ethiopia Winner NIGUSSIE GEMEDA MUDE / Ethiopia Natural
Masterpiece ⚡️IPR100 Natural Anaerobic Datela "IPR100".
Two types of coffee flavored with fruits other than coffee in the fermentation tank.
Specialty class is indeed delicious and has few flaws, but I prefer a wilder taste. Regular specialty coffees are good enough for me.
If I can find a high quality Pacamara Natural, I will buy it even if it is expensive, because the flavor trends are completely different.

New York Timesの記事のアーティストをYoutubeから聴いているときに、偶然 "Watchhouse"を見つけました。
良さそうなのでHDTracksから"Tides Of A Teardrop"を購入しました。
まったりしたフォーク／カントリーで、Amazon（米国）で評判が良いです。
flac(96kHz/24bit)の音源なのでYoutubeより音質が良く素敵な演奏に聞こえます
日本からでも"Mandolin Orange"の頃のアルバムを含めて、何枚か購入できます。
Folk/Country Duo "Watchhouse"
I discovered "Watchhouse" by accident while listening to a Youtube clip of the artists in an article in The New York Times.
It sounded good, so I bought "Tides Of A Teardrop" from HDTracks.
It's a mellow folk/country song with good reviews on Amazon (US).
It's in flac (96kHz/24bit), so the sound quality is better than youtube, and it sounds great!
You can buy some of their albums from Japan, including the one from the "Mandolin Orange" era.

自作スピーカーケーブルの磁場解析 ― 2022年11月04日 17:22
10月22日に紹介した75Ωケーブル同軸ケーブル（S-5C-FB, 1m, 片チャンネル２本を用いて電流を中心導体で行き戻りさせる）の磁場解析をElmerFEMにより行いました。
今回の解析の目的は、シールドによる悪影響がどの程度あるかの評価です。
解析条件
・中心導体の片側に電圧を加えて、反対側を接地。
・2本の電圧の絶対値は同じで、極性のみ反転。
・実際のシールドは編組線＋アルミ箔テープですが、厚さ0.2mmの銅とし、両端を浮遊させた。
解析結果
周波数20kHzでは、シールドなしの条件と比べて、ゴミ電流のre成分の近接効果がわずかに減る程度だった。
個人的な見解
磁場の問題は小さいようなので、ピュアオーディオに使える可能性がある。
メリット
安価な材料。
発泡ポリエチレン絶縁のケーブルのコンデンサが２直列になる条件になるので、静電容量が小さく色付けが少ない。
音質が良いと言われている非メッキ単線銅導体。
デメリット
インダクタンスが大きいので、ケーブルが長い場合、プリアンプとパワーアンプ間に位相補償回路を加えることが望ましい。
Magnetic field analysis of self-made speaker cable
A magnetic field analysis of the 75Ω cable coaxial cable (S-5C-FB, 1m, 2 wires per channel, with current going to and returning from the center conductor) introduced on October 22 was performed using ElmerFEM.
The purpose of this analysis was to evaluate the degree of adverse effects caused by the shielding.
Analysis conditions
The voltage is applied to one side of the center conductor and the other side is grounded.
The absolute values of the two voltages are the same, and only the polarity is reversed.
The actual shield is braided wire + aluminum foil tape, but I used 0.2 mm thick copper and left both ends floating.
Analysis Results
At a frequency of 20 kHz, the proximity effect of the re component of the litter current was only slightly reduced compared to the unshielded condition.
Personal Opinion
The magnetic field problem seems to be small and could be used for pure audio.
Advantages
Inexpensive material.
The capacitance is small and coloration is low because of the condition of two capacitors in series in the foamed polyethylene-insulated cable.
Unplated single-wire copper conductor, which is said to have good sound quality.
Disadvantages
Because of its large inductance, it is desirable to add a phase compensation circuit between the preamplifier and power amplifier if the cable is long.
